I designed a lil fantasy keyboard on a plane. Two Tabs, bigger and simpler modifier keys. Bonus: A bit more symmetry.

@davidoakley Somehow indeed! Mostly focused on the left side as this is where I think most problems reside.

@davidoakley @mwichary what?!? the inverted-T is exactly why I love Mac KBs.
Cannot stand it when others do that.
If they must be full height, move the ^ cursor up a level then, that I can live with fine.

@colinstu @mwichary Double-height was certainly what I was thinking - maybe if Marcin’s new column was on the right instead there’d be a way? 🤔
