@Taweret no more Hercules!
We want Crittercules! #Monsterdon
@strangefour @Taweret Lou Ferrigno would make an disturbingly strong critter.

@Taweret The Crites still lurk in space and must be finished off.

#Monsterdon

@Taweret Next week then, surely :<

#monsterdon #VoteReptilian

@combatwombat @Taweret People really seem to hop on whatever option is new in the poll.

I wonder if it'd make sense to take out options that have been consistently behind for several weeks and then bring them back a few weeks later to make them seen fresh πŸ€”

#Monsterdon

@diazona @Taweret Yes, or remove the most and least voted on movies next week, not just the winning one. More turnaround and variety.
@combatwombat @Taweret Yeah, I like that idea too. Although if a movie does poorly for a few weeks, I wouldn't necessarily want that to mean it's gone forever. It seems in the spirit of #Monsterdon to support an underdog. (#VoteReptilian)

@diazona @combatwombat @Taweret

One nation. Under dog.
A Beagle must use his newly-bestowed superpowers to defend Capitol City from mad scientist Simon Barsinister.

I do remember Simon Barsinister from the original cartoon. Simon says.. go snow. For example.

Almost 5/10.. πŸ˜‹

@diazona @combatwombat @Taweret
I actually enjoyed that movie. Nicely goofy. Which was good because my kids watched it repeatedly.

"Give. The dog. Your. Food!

@diazona @combatwombat @Taweret #monsterdon

1. Every week, remove the lowest-voted movie

2. Occasionally have a "best of the worst" poll offering only those lowest-voted movies.

@diazona @combatwombat @Taweret

Regarding this.. who decides what gets into the poll? Is there a Poll Academy?

@jivens @combatwombat It's all up to @Taweret

We're just speculating and throwing out ideas

@Taweret

How DARE YOU not pick the Lou version of Sindbad as a candidate!

#Monsterdon

@davesdogmaggie @Taweret The first thing that hit me about this is that he's holding a single handed sword with two hands. like the pommel of that might be under the index finger of his lower hand, but I'm pretty sure it's not even hand and a half.

@xoagray @Taweret

What struck me is how much MORE he looks like Bruno.

#Monsterdon

@davesdogmaggie @Taweret NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ... please and thank you.

@davesdogmaggie @Taweret

Y'all got to respect the order of my #Monsterdon prophecies! *First* The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, *then* Sinbad of the Seven Seas! πŸ˜†

@Taweret
We've had one Harryhausen, yes, but what about second Harryhausen?
@Taweret I will continue to bang my drum for Reptilian, but I am absolutely down for any Sinbad movie. πŸ˜€πŸ‘
EDIT: Scratch that. There is at least one version of a Sinbad movie I would not like.
@Taweret
I repeat: "Shock Waves" has in its cast John Carradine and Peter Cushing, and i.m.a.o. is the best move featuring underwater Nazi zombiesβ€”though, admittedly it has no scenes featuring an u.N.z. fighting a shark….

@Taweret
Oh hey a new Monsterdon poll. I wonder if we-πŸ’ͺπŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ¦΅πŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ¦΅πŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ¦΅πŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺπŸ§”β€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ

...oh

@Taweret

Just to be clear, IMDB lists "Sinbad" as a 1973 film. In case anyone gets confused. Not me. I'm not confused. But somebody else. Other than me.

#monsterdon

@Taweret I'm kind of burned out on these 70s myth epics, but if it keeps us from watching Critters 4 then I suppose it serves a purpose.
@Taweret
I'd like to propose Cherry 2000 as an option.

@Taweret Dafuq? It was Critters 4 this morning!

Is this the Hungarian vector?!

@Taweret

Okay, well, "Golden Voyage of Sinbad" has Tom Baker in it.

I also own this DVD. In fact, I have the whole "Sinbad" series, I think.

@Taweret

In fact, I have an awful lot of Harryhausen's work, come to think of it.
