As a privacy advocate, I consider phones and computers an extension of human thought and conscience. Some of us even keep our diaries on our devices.
That said, the sentiment I often encounter is that we hand over our devices at the demand of our partners if we "have nothing to hide". I'm not so sure I agree with this.
A private conversation is supposed to remain private . I trust my partner 100% and will never demand their device.
