David ChartierEvery time I have to deal with managing a modern router (previously Netgear, currently an Orbi), I miss Apple’s AirPort routers. Why, WHY did it exit the market. And why hasn’t it jumped back in.
Marc Palmer@chartier surely because not enough people want to pay the high cost for Apple to make it great. As things go, for most non-tech people routers are worthless and horrible, not aspirational. Most of them come free with ISP service so they are perceived as low value? Tech people like us chafe and how bad these things are but most people don’t even see the problems?
