I saw the Moody Blues in Germany, too, around that time. Here is their tour in 1978. I lived in Wiesbaden, so I must have gone to Rüsselsheim. I met friends there who came from Heidelberg :

I was in the Army at Wiesbaden Air Base. I lived "on the economy" as they said then. Lovely little apartment.
