Good Morning Worlds.
We are going to clear a load of scrap wood to the tip this morning, while it is not raining.

Then I want to have a quick look at how much stuff I need to move from the driveway, break some extractor fans down to metal, e-waste, and plastics, and I need to give Mum a hair cut.

I am also keeping an ear out in case of issues at work with the toilet. It will be a busy week.

Tip trip done, and another car load gone. Hopefully no punctures this time.

We might be getting another delivery of crates today. The tracking says they went from Stockport, to Manchester, to Chorley, and now back to Manchester for delivery! 🙄

The rest of the crates have arrived!

Interesting that the Parcel Force driver saw us in our drive, putting stuff in the bins.
He said he thinks he has a delivery for us, and he had been next door, but it wasn't for them!

Well, of course it wasn't for them, it is all addressed to us!
Why can't people doing deliveries read addresses!
🙄

In the meantime we have turned a load of bathroom fans into cardboard, plastics, metals, and e-waste.

I gave Mum a hair cut. It is now about 150mm shorter than it was this morning!

I will cut Sue's hair soon, and then mine.

I am not a hairdresser, but I can use scissors safely.... 🤔

All my die-cast model cars and trucks have been packed. Also, some of the Tonka, and Bruder vehicles.
The built up Lego models are also packed.

I am 7No 80 litre tote crates, and one bigger crate, into this already and haven't even looked at the books!

@Maker_of_Things Last time we moved a houseful of books, we bought cardboard boxes for them sized to make a comfortable lift. It was a good idea, much more comfortable than the giant ones we had used in the past.

@jarkman
Yes, I used to move my books in some huge plastic crates, I am too old to want to do that now.
The 80 litre tote crates will do. They are about half the size.

Also, the cardboard fruit and veg crates from the supermarkets are quite good too, especially if a whole set of matching ones are stacked up together. That's how I moved all my ex wife's paperback novels.

@Maker_of_Things The ability of people who have a networked computer with GPS receiver in their pocket to get addresses wrong never ceases to amaze me...
@kim
Also, door number on the address label and on the front of the house in 4 different places.
@Maker_of_Things I think that one's covered by the Second Law of Engineering: "People don't read"
