Got a new toy :)

A thing I clocked today is that I can change settings as I film with the drone, so in this example its position is set to high and rear as I start, then high and to my right along the harbour, then flat to my rear to avoid the entrance, then high to my rear so it wasn’t buzzing the pedestrian.

We’re not going to talk about my kickstand being down the entire time, ’kay?

@EbikeNuggs we need another ride on a Barry Buddon range with that
@otfrom Restricted airspace, but we can ask permission!
@EbikeNuggs they have a model aircraft club that meets there. I bet they know the rules on things.
@otfrom Ahh, interesting. There’s a huge swathe that’s restricted but there’s also a tiny overlap you can make out for Barry Buddon. I’m guessing you’d need to seek permission from both.
@EbikeNuggs looks like dmac might have some rules which might help (I know nothing about drone flying rules tho) https://dmac1.org/dmac-rules/
Rules

@EbikeNuggs that is unbelievably awesome. I don't think I would get away with trying that in London though, I suspect helicopters and men with earpieces would be on me in a flash.
@CTD There’s quite a lot of restricted airspace in London, and there will be other bylaws preventing it, I’m sure. And that’s before you get to people being generally suspicious!
@EbikeNuggs we are close to a Chinook flight path. They are always trundling by
@EbikeNuggs and one just flew past immediately after I posted that. They are checking up on me
@EbikeNuggs Looks like the video game you buy your kid when they ask for GTA for Xmas.

@EbikeNuggs @chrisphin Very cool.

Looking at the footage, no one noticed your kickstand. ◡̈

@EbikeNuggs @chrisphin ❤️🚴❤️🚴❤️
