@redsad * brought me closer
@lritter @redsad in the comic this is from, he's still solving mysteries, so, no.

@fishidwardrobe @redsad but he just said it. he is already there.

then again shaggy is not the smartest pothead-coded character.

that would be marty from the cabin in the woods.

@lritter @redsad *every* mystery we solve. he's talking both about all the mysteries he's solved so far, and also about all the mysteries he has yet to solve, too.

the correct tense for this is the present; to use any other would change the meaning.

@fishidwardrobe @redsad so he could in the end still realize something else rather than what he fears right now.

that's deep.

@lritter @redsad you need to read the whole comic to see how good this is!

i don't know who coloured that one panel above. the original isn't coloured. but, fuck me, it doesn't need it.

Port Sherry
@fishidwardrobe @redsad heh. this panel is indeed worth nothing on its own. great strip.
@lritter @fishidwardrobe @redsad
I mean, it's a valid criticism of rich old men stealing as much as they can, so it can stand on it's own, though I prefer with the previous panel as well.
But yes, the whole strip is Shaggy lamenting that there isn't any mystery to the world. Nothing unexplained, no surprises, nothing supernatural. Just... old men stealing as much as they can.
@RobinBobcat @fishidwardrobe @redsad if only that were true then i could safely jump into a woodchipper

@lritter @fishidwardrobe @redsad

No no, the rich old bastards go first.

@RobinBobcat @lritter @fishidwardrobe @redsad
Even old men stealing is a mystery. We can't know all there is to know on this planet without also living on the others.
