I tested Coolify over the weekend and I don’t know if I’m convinced.

Some technical reasons gave me pause and some community stuff as well. Specifically the code of conduct on discord that mentions: "Avoid Sensitive Topics such as Politics, LGBTAQ+, and Related Topics". 🥴

@Palleas I haven’t used Coolify but I’m running Dokploy for a few things which is working well enough fwiw. no idea about their CoC though :/

@Palleas I'm selfhosting it. though, ironically, the VPS it's on costs ~$5/month so maybe I'm just an idiot

@notjosh 😄 I might try that then. This week-end I setup the whole coolify + coolify runner using Terraform and stuff, only to drop everything at the end (which Terraform makes easy), but I might just try the cloud offering stuff first this time 😅

@Palleas I can't remember why I chose Dokploy over Coolify tbh, but lmk if you get it running so I can hear your comparison!

@Palleas ohh I think people were saying Coolify uses a whole bunch of resources while it's idle, which kinda sucks on a cheap low powered VPS
