@DemocracyMattersALot Considering that most of Europe will cave in and send help to do it? I can almost guarantee everyone in NATO is going to go along, even places he recently threatened to annex.

No, if anything, he's been getting a lot more of his way than should be possible.

And that should be terrifying.

@DemocracyMattersALot Why? Why should any country follow Trump into another Vietnam? Especially a country like China that has actively worked to diversify their energy sources and get off oil? That sounds like a you problem, Trump. He can always just go back to Iran with his tail between his legs like the dog he is and make a deal where Iran gets more money than last year and the war ends. Didn't he write the book on deals? It should be easy for him.

@DemocracyMattersALot It's kind of a bad time for a meeting on both sides. Trump has lots of troubles and it doesn't look like his health is too good, and Xi has been having lots of troubles since he started purging senior generals and getting resistance from the PLA. It's hard work being an authoritarian despot when the people have other ideas.
