I loved reading those computer manuals from the 1970s and the 1980s. The industry used to care about well written manuals. My favourites of that period were by DEC, SUN, and SGI. Apple’s System 6 manuals were very good too. These days, IT folk don’t know how to write with the LLM. Sad….

@aka_pugs I remember reading this at the time. I was a computer science student in Calgary, and my boyfriend worked for Sun.
