Intel_LogSilicon Valley technocrats went from being secular to quasi-religious real quick. Have they realized that reason alone hasn't been serving them this whole time?
I thought y'all were supposed to be 'rational' and not believe in religious things. Now they are practicing some form of 'faith' which is actually counterintuitive and harmful at worse. Ironic asf.
ISTG, the New Age and Tech communities are so in bed with each other because of 'AI'. They see it as 'magical' or 'mysterious', and they actually think that 'AIs' are 'god-like spirits' teaching their divine wisdom to humans.
I heard those in Silicon Valley want to create AGI to create 'the second coming of Christ'. This really sounds bonkers.
