1. There will be an investigation
2. The principal will be "stood down"
3. The principal will be quietly shuffled off to another school halfway across the country
4. The noise will die down, and the authorities will quietly close the investigation

@piepants @redhero How about a meeting? Better yet, a whole series of meetings. Gotta make sure they spend maximum time “discussing” it and zero time fixing whatever’s actually going on or even the root cause.

And of don't forget "we’ll “look into it”. Maybe form a committee. Draft a statement. Circle back. But hey, it’s end of fiscal year, so it’s 難しいーーーーなーーーーー.

@piepants @redhero Harassment in schools here gets tolerated, then brushed off, and the victim gets somehow blamed, almost every time. “We don’t recognize bullying as the cause of the absences,” so it’s “not serious”? Come on! That’s just word games to dodge responsibility. And god forbid you report it or even talk dare to about it. Same with the whole “strict teacher = good teacher” excuse - nope, it’s cover for abuse. Boils my piss for decades.
