When you say the Lord is your shepherd, to most autistic people, that implies more than you mean. Not to like stereotype my own, but I feel most of us had to immediately think we'd get sheared by Jesus at some point. Like a shepherd as a leader to a safe place is a bit more nuanced and is an implication beyond the literal meaning that would be understood.
