I'm grabbing a sandwich and my phone kept complaining about "no nfc app installed" and for some reason the bottom of the table is plastered in NFC tags.

Huh.

Probably was from some kind of table service tracker they gave up on.

THEY'RE WRITEABLE LOL

Otherwise they're fully unprogrammed and no data.

This is funny until someone makes it a link to a fake wifi login or something.

Attached: 1 image like a year ago, i found out that you could overwrite the NFC tags embedded in the tables at panera, so i wrote a record that just sends me a text when someone puts their phone down

@Firr
Time to rickroll some unsuspecting sods?
@Firr I rewrote so many of these at the furry coffee meet back home that my friends abuse@ got an email lol
@Firr There are some pretty common systems where you place the order puck on the table and it uses those to tell them where you are sitting.
@Firr
I have a tendency of leaving digital graffiti on those NFC tags.
@Firr I'd have probably programmed them to just keep displaying the word TITS.
