@intrepidhero Didn’t make it to Big Huckleberry but I think there probably is snow up there. I encountered some starting around 3200. No ticks though!
@andrewbriscoe no ticks is a win! Did you start from the crossing on FR 65/Panther Creek? There's some big trees on the way up that hill.
@intrepidhero Yup exactly, right near Panther Creek. There were several of those big trees down across the trail as well on the way up the steep section. Crossed a couple small landslides. Nothing too dangerous. Panther Creek seems more like a river than a creek.
@andrewbriscoe I bet! Water levels have been nuts.
