The thing is - and I'm sorry to even pollute the discourse with this thought - what if they manage it, but it's just a bit ... shit? Remember how excited we were for The Phantom Menace?
John@johnnie So much this. I think Firefly only got to remain a legend because it died early. If it had gone on for several seasons would it be as cult a thing as it became?
Having said that, the generation that grew up with the prequel trilogy really donโt hate TPM as much as old people do, and The Clone Wars did a *lot* of work to redeem them, especially the characterisation of Anakin. Would a 20 years later Firefly revival work if aimed at new audience?
