Daniel Fortes@noracodes Honestly, his blog post would me more tolerable if he just said "this is a great tool and I will use it and I don't care about the ethics" instead of meandering and saying "don't be mad at me, It's just the times, I have to adapt!". Just own your choices instead of dressing them in the cloak of inevitability
@dfortes I disagree, tbh. Simon Willison does what you suggest and is utterly insufferable, at least to me.
@dfortes Graydon came across as sincere and I don't count him among those who don't mind the fascism angle.
@noracodes I agree with that, it’s the defeatist attitude that gets to me. It’s a bleak outlook when people of his level will just go with the flow
