I rode back home from Basel at Noon, and I saw there was a dusting of snow at the top. That was enough to motivate me to go for a ride by myself, on the fat bike.

I made it to the top, totally spent. The last 500m or so, I was under trees that were dripping. It sounded and felt like rain, but it was thawing snow. Not much left by the time i reached the top... #Fatbike
I rode the ridge, which was sketchy to put it mildly, then went back via the South side. The view south did not disappoint.
Zoom? Zoom.
I came back down my usual trail, and from the cliff, I saw this. Wonder whether it was someone burning something, or just something burning... it looked big!
Some of my trails were closed, so I rolled down fire roads, pretty fast, until I noticed that my front tyre was almost flat. Weird.
I pumped it to maybe 5 PSI, limped to the closest petrol station, noticed their pump was for the wrong valve, pumped again, made it to the next, pumped it to what the gauge claims was 7 PSI but felt more like 12, and then made it home without further ado.
I wonder what happened there...
Overall a good ride, albeit bloody hard on the way up.
I am super glad I went!
