(The company I worked for was a multi-billion-dollar entertainment company so they were pretty much always involved in at least one lawsuit.) The message wasn't false or even particularly controversial, but wasn't flattering.
An exec PMed me and said "is that something you would like to see in a court filing?", to which my reply was "in my defense, that would be awesome" before relenting and removing the post.
