@mramsdellpics Beautiful picture 🤩 ... no Enallagma, though. The dragonfly depicted here is a member of the suborder Anisoptera, dragonflies: large eyes making up most of the head, wings held flat and away from the body.
Enallagma species are damselflies with small eyes and wings folded along the body when at rest (similar to moths).
Due to my lack of knowledge of North-American dragonflies, I do not know what species that is. I guess it belongs to the Libellulidae family... 🤷‍♂️
