@JohanEmpa awesome I’ll look into it and add it to the list. Essentially as long as it’s not dependent on a big tech API or data it can make the list.

My background is FOSS and things with linux capability for desktop but as the article says I’ve grown tired of things not ‘playing nice’ and my missus isn’t going to ever change her device to a de-googled phone from iOS no matter how much I harped on about even if I essentially did the migration myself.

I’ve grown old, tired and grumpy 😂

@justincrozer It's European, owned by a coalition of car companies. I don't know about APIs and data. It may not be perfect but for some people it could be a way to lessen dependency on big tech.

@JohanEmpa it could use something like Amazon web services but if the map data is original or user sourced that’s good enough.

I mean even if it’s an EU thing I could do like an EU option across the categories as it does appear the EU is doing the same as US big tech but their own way so as more and more services pop up from the EU as alternatives to US big tech there is that as well even for people who don’t live in the EU.
