One of the things you mention reminded me to what Kentaro Toyama wrote on “Geek heresy”: that technology amplifies and multiplies whatever we are, individually and as a society (or a company, in this case).
Therefore, if we are a mess, more technology will only amplify that mess, the same way that technology helps whenever we have a good system in place.
