A hammer salesman goes to a hardware store and tries to get the owner to buy his hammers and start selling them to customers. The hammer salesman boasts about how amazing this hammer is. “Watch”, he explains. “Place your hands on the counter.” he smacks the owners hand with a hammer. “See? These are excellent hammers!” The hammer salesman returns the next day, at an attempt to sell the owner more of his hammers. Tragically, the owner had instead bought a gun.
