It genuinely pains me to my core to put on the mask for professionalism and formality. There's just, something about the way people talk when presenting themselves in a professional capacity that makes me want to gouge my eyes out. The thing that really takes the cake is fake enthusiasm and friendliness. That really makes my skin crawl. Also, why do we have to constantly make ourselves look like we have no hobbies or free time? I'm unemployed, I have A LOT of free time. Want me to work? Pay me.
This is not a serious offer btw, if it was, I'd be linking my resume, but I limit the exposure my resume gets nowadays because I hate cold calls. At least, by limiting my resume to job applications, I know when to expect calls.
