This does not bode well.
@colincornaby I wonder how many stores have just put them in the back and no one noticed?

@ecschwarz @colincornaby There are clearly issues with the Mac Pro as a product, but I seem to remember that my old store (that I used to work at and had limited floor space) didn’t have a Mac Pro on display ever. And that was 15 years ago.

I saw more Mac Pros in the edit suites at uni than I did in the three years I also spent part time at Apple. I never sold one, that’s for sure.

It’s just not a priority retail item. The fact it’s there at all is a good/neutral sign, if anything.

@rowan_johnson @colincornaby Yeah, I want to say that the old Keystone (Indianapolis) store didn’t have it on display until they moved to their new location.

I live a 2 hour drive from that and the smaller Mishawaka one, so most of my infrequent trips are for a specific thing and I never look, but I think I’ll start keeping an eye out just for grins!

(Regarding university use, we had a lot of Power Mac G5s that gave way to pre-2013 Mac Pros…not sure what they’re using now. So much rendering!)
