@DrALJONES @jranft That sounds like the Nature-Nurture arguments with you leaning toward the Nature side. The balance would be 'How many of young Gazan's will grow up to be terrorists'. It's been suggested that IDF creates as many terrorists as does Hamas. War is a whole other world. You either learn or you die, rules are nice if everyone is on the same page. Hegseth is the kind of leader that gets his troops killed, like the 2nd Lts of Vietnam, sadly there it wasn't their fault.
