As I'm getting older and wanting to get rid of more junk, I'm wishing that the 3d printing revolution really took off. Not because I want more crap or even want to fix stuff, but because I could magically get rid of more of it to print other things.

It might seem like this leads to valuing items less but it's sort of the opposite. If I could have a small number of things that aren't printed I could value those things more. Instead I'm inundated.

I don't think I'll buy another CD but I do rather enjoy buying flac files from Bandcamp. But I can just keep them on a hard drive and transfer it to other hard drives in the future. That's kind of like 3D printing and recycling?

I wonder what to do with my existing CD collection though.
