Kim@andygates I just did one of those. It's doing that thing where you bake in the sun but as soon as you enter the shade your extremities freeze. Miraculously managed not to get rained on by the grey doom that was looming to the north-west throughout. Reckon I'm over the-week-before-last's gastro lurg and am back to took-a-year-off-to-renovate-a-house unfit.
@kim yeah I was the only one out in summer kit: picked a route to avoid too much shadow and generated my own heat. Fun thing from the midway stop: rustic bike racks!
@andygates Since THE EVENT I find I need full winter kit below about 10°C.
@kim I'm ridiculously solar powered, apricity is my jam, sky's out thighs out. I got a little Lynne Cox loop from back in my open-water swimming days that plays, "if I'm getting cold, increase effort."
