Joe Jackson releases his jazz-focused project-- blending pop, Latin, and soul influences -- on March 14, 1984. It's his 6th album and features some sophisticated arrangements and high-fidelity production. It was Jackson's first fully digital recording, captured in a Masonic hall to achieve a spacious, "live" room sound. It worked. Oh, and the iconic cover art is a direct homage to jazz legend Sonny Rollins' 1957 album, Sonny Rollins, Vol. 2. #joejackson
