My server PC started to do the random clicking noise. One of the hard drives is about to fail. This unintended notification warned me sooner than SMART did. I want to use this opportunity to finally add some redundancy to the storage. Now I have a btrfs on lvm on luks. I am thinking: Should I get rid of lvm and just have btrfs with raid1 on luks? Or shoud I have btrfs on lvm with raid1 on luks? 🤔 Can't decide. #SelfHosting
