:squee of delight: the GrapheneOS partnered OEM??? It's Motorola!

As in the company that made the moto droid that was the BEST form factor (and rooting experience) android ever. They could give Nokia a run on indestructibility. I'm delighted and really looking forward to seeing what the new models will look like! (Now someone talk them into doing eink...)

NB. Last I heard, no model was set to come out for this before LATE this year or into next, more likely next. So if you've got a pixel 6 you're still looking at eol, and if you're not on graphene yet... don't wait? Seriously, :looks at world:, don't wait. But I'm still excited.

This but graphene and now. YES.

@feonixrift
I am quite hopeful.

(And it is not lost on me that their associated company Lenovo is going ahead with reparable/upgradable laptops more than before)

@GeoWend They know from Lenovo's experience how good attracting the geeks can be for a brand.
@feonixrift
Yeppp. (I just got my best ever laptop from them...2018 Thinkpad T480, which I had no problem upgrading.)
@feonixrift I'm just mildly annoyed that I bought a new Motorola android phone about 4 weeks ago, literally just a few days before this announcement about the partnership with GrapheneOS
