@drahsturgis I haven't read a lot of mysteries set in colleges, but British tv producers sure seem to love Oxford. Grantchester, Endeavour, Inspector Morse, Inspector Lewis. Come to think of it, a few months ago I read Swing, Swing Together by Peter Lovesey, and one of the suspects is an academic in one of the colleges at Oxford.
