Something I've noticed on Mastodon is a group of people/orgs that post the same thing multiple times. I suspect this is because they behavior is needed to break through the algorithms on corporate networks but I don't think it lands the same way here. Mastodonians tend to pay more attention and, at least for me, repeat posts over a few days or a week make me want to unfollow.

Am I alone?

@bobkmertz I prefer networks like this because of the non existance of an algorithm that weights content, though a kind of social cleaner would make sense to reduce that noise... Just thinking
