#WritersCoffeeClub Mar. 13 – Talk about an experience when you consulted an expert for a piece of writing.

I was lucky enough to have A Maiden's War, a narrative poem retelling of #Mulan as a transgender woman, edited by Alicja of the @oddtail system. The work was made much stronger by her pointing out which parts hit wrong to her as a trans woman (though every trans woman is different, of course), as well as aspects of wording and meter.
