A brief post on a brief find. I was wondering if anyone thought of using the Fediverse, that nebulous internet thing that includes Mastodon, Lemmy, Peertube, Loops, Pixelfed, Hubzilla, Miskey, Fundwhale and more, and used it as an interface to game software. The main thing I've found so far is this site, games.rerere.org.

@setsideb just so you know, the ActivityPub protocol isn’t well designed for games. This is part of the reason why the @spritely is working a new protocol called OCapN which is well designed for federated games, as well as ordinary Fediverse things like microblogging and sharing photos. Here is an example game created by @dthompson last year which demos this new technology.
@ramin_hal9001 @spritely @dthompson Of course it's not designed for it. The web wasn't designed for games either. PLATO wasn't designed to host the first RPGs. People are gonna use tech for games.
