A five-shilling tax in #SierraLeone in January 1898 sparked #CivilDisobedience & protests that turned into the '#HutTaxWar'. Responding to the guerilla tactics of the rebels, British troops turned to #ScorchedEarth from #ThisDayInHistory in 1898, burning many dozens of villages.

I was wondering if anyone thought of using the Fediverse, that nebulous internet thing that includes Mastodon, Lemmy, Peertube, Loops, Pixelfed, Hubzilla, Miskey, Fundwhale and more, and used it as an interface to game software. The main thing I've found so far is this site, games.rerere.org.
