Hi there. Was it you who a little while back posted the photo of the delivery from Odd Bunch? (And after you answered a couple of my questions about it)
@SnowyCA could be.
I've taken pics the last couple of weeks too, but didn't get around to sharing them. Are you going to give them a try?
@ottaross
I thought it was you.
After talking with you and a couple others in your thread, I placed an order with Odd Bunch and was pleasantly surprised with the contents of the box. One of the people here asked about my delivery so I explained it and showed what I received. They in turn placed an order.
Perhaps you9 should receive a free box of produce in return for the company's increased sales? lol
Thanks for sharing your experience with Odd Bunch because living out in the midst of nowhere, transportation is an issue and it saves me the hassle of going to the store just for produce.
@SnowyCA it's a very nice service, particularly the suspend and substitute capability.
I think I've probably brought them a dozen new customers over the past couple of years! Look Mom, I'm an influencer! 😂
@ottaross
" Look Mom, I'm an influencer! 😂"
Be careful there, Ross, I am pretty sure somewhere in the fine print of the Masto Rules of Conduct there is a subsection that reads:
"..and anyone becoming an Influencer, or having Designs to do so, will be forced to Stand before the Fediverse Tribunal and watch as they Yeet the offending IP address into the Netherworld."
@intothewestaway A cardboard box contains an assortment of fresh produce. Inside, there is a large head of cabbage wrapped in plastic on the left, with two cucumbers and red potatoes positioned behind and next to it. To the right, a plastic package holds white mushrooms with a visible label that includes the text "小皮". Additional items include Brussels sprouts, a head of broccoli, curly kale, a brown paper bag holding several oranges, a red apple, and two limes (one yellow, one green). The box also has small fruits near the limes and mushrooms.

Very nice!
Mine contained, kale-2, lettuce, broccoli, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, oranges-4, avocados-2, potatoes , grape tomatoes, pears-6, garlic, about 8 medium cucumbers, parsnips-6, and 2 grapefruit.
I checked the flyer for Food Basics and if I bought there it would have cost me nearly double the price.
@SnowyCA
Nice. Very similar.
I have compared prices at several grocery stores where I have shopped in #HamOnt. Even with the $4 delivery, always ahead. Also things we don't usually buy because they are expensive show up. We don't often buy grapes but we got a kilo of grapes last week! They would have cost $10-12. They were great. We make stock and we can quickly make great soups with the root veg, squash. I am really pleased with #OddBunch
Same here.
I am an adaptable cook. Normally I buy what's on sale first, then check off the rest, and work with whatever I end up carrying home.
The type of mushrooms was a special variety, oh and I forgot, there were quite a few kumquats in the box--a fruit I hadn't tasted before.
I'm looking forward to next week's delivery.
