Also, the owner of the company does this strange saluting thing, and also reposts white nationalist memes.... #tesla

@ai6yr I am glad, Ben, that I am of a generation that does not have to care about autonomous cars and taxicabs. I can choose to just ride in cars with steering wheels.

Rented a compact (and cheap) Kia a couple years ago at KSEA to get to Skagit Speedway. Coming home on I-5, decided to try it's "lane assist" feature. Punched the button, and 10 sec. later, the freeway made a slight left, offramp was straight. Stoopid car just went straight onto the offramp.

I will never use it again.

@ai6yr the big tech guy's are jumping into volcano of their own ego - predict economy will 10x in 10 years.

don't you think if you are talking to older folks they are going to be interested in longevity? it is all too weird but if he really ramps elec semi finally this time, 4 years late, then that is something;

mostly i am interested when mkts flip or asml starts selling more machines or something significant happens - more competition. They promise you the world but want a pound of flesh,

at some point open source crew is going to look in the mirror and run their own distributed inference and federated enclaves, repos, distributed models, not rely on big tech so much, the entire ai trend will hit smb sector,

I think quite a few people will go for local self hosted solutions - we will see how the mkt shakes out #hold the wheel#driving while blind #scarcity #urgency #fomo #holley efi
