People are actually using Claude to do their code reviews. So, they’re letting AI review code that AI wrote. What could possibly go wrong?? 🙃

At some point, we have to ask ourselves why we hate humans, because our actions are starting to echo Theil’s sentiments on the worth of humanity, and it’s highly disturbing.

@paolamata One of my coworkers even has a whole system for it. He lets Claude write the code, then Copilot reviews it, and then ChatGPT reviews the review. I don't get it, and probably never will, but he's happy with it.
@tattooedDev sigh… why, though??
@paolamata 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'm kind of getting the sense that it might be an age thing. Everyone in my team is younger than 30, and they're all hyped about AI. I'm nearing 42, and I couldn't care less. True, I might use Claude to get an idea quickly when everyone else is busy, but that's about it.

@tattooedDev maybe you’re right. I’m also in my 40s. Most of my friends closer to my age are also not interested.

I also think we’ve been through enough trends already. I get this is a big shift, but it’s always something…

@paolamata Totally agree. I also think that it wouldn't be so controversial when there wasn't such a big hype around it. I also get why the hype exists. Companies invest a shitload of money into AI, so they want to make sure everyone has at least heard of it. In the end it's all artificial (pun unintended) and I filter out the noise as much as I can. I also love to write code too much to let it do something (or someone) else for me.
