It's been a long time I participated in #exhibitions. A few years, actually. Today, a local gallerist called me and invited to participate again. Well, I was pleased, but we never were close enough, the gallery never followed me on the Instagram, and this call is a sure sign they are dying. They are in despair and I'm very sorry to realize that. Really. #Art never been easy.

But I seem to be dead already and have no decent #artwork to exhibit, only old crap.

So, #fedi, what should I do?

If your participation is for mutual benefit, go participate.

If it is more for the gallery’s benefit and you feel like you will give them a helping hand, go participate.

If it is for the gallery’s exclusive benefit and you feel they are taking advantage of you, don’t participate.

If it is for the gallery’s exclusive benefit and you feel they are taking advantage of you, but you still want to give them a hand just because you want to, go participate.
