@Redfuchs That's probably actually a zombie listing. They have someone they're familiar with and want to give them that particular job. But they're required to list the job openly for all applicants. So they basically make it *very* specific so only their person qualifies.
@Redfuchs I have all of that experience except for single page apps. (I have only done one of those.) They can fuck off with that being an entry level job.
@Redfuchs Why does anyone think that having that many qualifications is an entry level position? I know this is a stupid question but I'm just flabbergasted.
@Zeta@Redfuchs Because fuck you, that's why. Because the fucking parasites don't give a shit about being reasonable when they'd rather abuse and exploit the people who actually work for a living in every way they can come up with.
@Redfuchs team oriented and results [translators note: keikaku means billable hours] oriented are in direct opposition to each other!! one person can't be both!!!
@Redfuchs I had 20 years of experience and a degree when I got my last job. I used to have a lead role. I got a "senior entry level" position. As in, a position meant for people with 2 years of experience. And the people who had 2 years' experience ended up with the base job, which was supposed to go to people who are brand new to the industry. Neither paid as well as an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant.
@Redfuchs The entry requirements have always been a lie. So should your application. also, applications that are only read by machines, should be written by machines. also, people employed by companies that regard employees as disposable, should regard those companies as disposable.
@Redfuchs Anti-discrimination laws require them to ask these questions for auditing purposes - if 1,000 minorities + 5,000 majorities apply, then they have to answer for why they hired 10 majorities and 1 minority
@Redfuchs The mystery dice roll: are they going to still do DEI (then I think those questions are possibly appropriate) or are they going to follow the current political trends and will discriminate AGAINST marginalized people?
