Okay I just think this (above) is a funny example of how being on Mastodon has been healing for my psyche.

I woke up this morning and the Mastodon folder of my email account had over 1400 messages. And my first thought was, "Ha! That bumper sticker post must be really popular."

On any other social media my first thought would have been an anxious one. "Oh no!! What did I say?!?"

Thank you, Mastodonians. :) It's not perfect here, and I know a lot of us are trying to fix the problems that do exist, but I find more kindness and curiosity here than other places, and that has had a real effect on me.
