Made it to Blue Lake. . as beautiful as ever. Pics to follow, almost no reception on the top of Straya. 🩵
Perfect weather up at Kosciuszko for the 9km return walk to Blue Lake. A lot of up, up, up and down, down, down, plus a bracing but unscheduled dip in the Snowy River crossing 😅. And now, on the way home, the bloody honeymoon* ankle is giving me gyp**.
* 44 years!
** I know this is politically incorrect but I can't think of a better expression.

@sister_ratched where are you now, & where were you when you made your early morning "leaving now" post? if you're now somewhere in Cape York Peninsula, how did you get there from Canberra so fast by road? the only Blue Lake i can find / know, is Mount Gambier, but you said you're at the top of straya, so me be totes 🤯🤯🤯
@MsDropbear42 Lol, left home at dawn and drove to Kosciuszko NP, which is not quite Cape York, but close. Blue Lake is just a 2 hour walk from Charlotte Pass.
