Anyone who was in the US Army in the 90s, best case: 1st Armored Div., and participated in the first Gulf war reading here?

I'm trying to fact check something I stumbled upon.

I was told some Amigas went to the Iraq to serve the troop morale and for internal BBSes (via int. switchboards and even RF partially).

But I have only one source for this - would be nice if someone could confirm.

Feel free to retoot for visibility.

#Amiga

Maybe worth noting for context: the single source I have for that mentioned that "supply loved the quicker turnaround times" since they seemingly replaced some paperwork with networked requests via the Amigas (he hasn't provided details).

So guess this question mostly targets personal involved with supply, infrastructure, logistics or similar.

Wow! 62 boosts/retoots (whats the agreed upon term? ^^). Thanks folks.

But sadly not a single answer so far.

Guess I will go the FOIA route.

Edit: First archive request send - guess to the wrong place haha
