So many legal and policy experts blindly trust PhotoDNA as a useful tool to act on illegal content. It’s good to see technical experts deep dive into this!
Daniel Thomas@SuVergnolle Historically it has been really hard to do this kind of research as access to PhotoDNA a has required signing legal agreements forbidding this kind of research (after previous schemes were broken). Great to see someone manage to do this. (Edit: fixed an autocorrect that confused the meaning.)
