For those who want to test their perception of colour, I made a little game called "What's My JND"

https://www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd/?r=ARUjKP__-ve-

What's My JND?

Find your Just Noticeable Difference in colour perception. How small a colour difference can you actually see?

@keithamus my family loves it
@keithamus follow up: Why is everything that respons to me sharing my result (0.0029) also having values in the same very low range? I can not understand that 0,02 should be the JND

@H0ffmann great question!

It's different testing methodology. JND in lab testing had participants look at 2 colour patches under tightly controlled conditions (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/230070407_RIT-DuPont_Supra-Threshold_Color-Tolerance_Individual_Color-Difference_Pair_Dataset).

This game puts two colours side by side, giving you unlimited time, in a completely uncontrolled environment, with variable screens, and the ability to tilt or distort your view until it becomes perceivable. So this is more a "Best Attempt at Noticeable Difference" than a "Just Noticeable Difference".
