Last week ago I saw someone use e14n instead of enshittification and thought it was the funniest thing ever, a way to somehow make the term even shittier.
@mergesort If we’re going to make things intentionally obscure like that, I suggest we start using Chinese characters. In that spirit, I propose shit化 as an alternative, which means the same thing, and at least contains the root word.
@axxl Or, it implies Americans removing a 't', which is the sort of thing Americans would do -- a kind of double-joke, in that, "This isn't just shitty, but also caves to American hegemony even though everyone else disagrees."
