Vissokay being able to turn a computer on and off with a oneliner from another room is actually kinda rad.
auslander@Viss home assistant has a WoL integration. You could potentially turn it into a button for extra rad factor.
@auslander thats actually a good idea - but i have two or three zwave devices that 'just turn on' whenever i update zwave-js, and now another device seemingly turns off then back on again randomly, so like.. HA is great, but its imperfect, and I dont want it accidentally turning on a machine that eats that much power, so im happy doing it via shellscript :D
