Experienced engineers (& others) can register as tutors & charge by the hour for Zoom sessions. Sometimes you can arrange a recurring series with a student or freelance gigs.

One Python/JS engineer I knew was able to make her entire living off of it. At least it can help make ends meet.

@darth_hideout I’ve registered on both Codementor and Mentor Cruise. I never had much luck with Codementor 😕, but I have helped a few people through MentorCruise.
